Song Around the World: Stand by Me
This is tremendously touching me, in a subtle way; I always admire those street musicians, that perform with their soul to their best. And now they do it as a peace movement that goes all around the world.
A happy-ending family movie, The Pacifier is a very good example of it. With lot's of hilarious scenes, and perfectly plotted touching family issue, you will love it for sure.
Vin Diesel maybe a new face in the comedy business, but in this movie, you will see that his profile fits the pictures.Imagine a special ops soldier, getting his hands filled with all tiny-miny common house-hold issues, such as: preparing breakfast for children, changing baby diapers, handling school issues, and much more.
This movie has it all. Name it action, or teen movie, and even a bit of drama. You can see, in the very start, how tough and special Shane Wolfe is (Vin Diesel). After that, the man realize that there is something that is more than war.
I feel bad that I didn't watch this movie earlier.
At first, I don't see any romantic values in terms of grownups relationship. Because the story is about a mother that try hard to support her child. The living part is hard, especially when you're an illegal Hispanic immigrant. And with Adam Sandler in the storyline, I thought the movie was a comedy instead of drama.
But then, what do you know, the love came in the corner. As the story develop into a more complex, and provocative situation (where I'd like to give the house lady a big slap in the face) - I fell asleep *bummer*
Guess I need to find a way to watch this movie again, in a more awake situation and definitely full.
