Yay, recently I've learned about "domain-parking" method. Well, I don't really know if I can call this as a method-or merely-a way to earn money through the internet.

What I've found in Wikipedia regarding domain parking:

..refers to the registration of an internet domain name without that domain being associated with any services such as e-mail or a website.

Did you get the point from that explanation? If not, hey .. you're not the only one, me neither!
Okay, I'll explain it to you, based on what I've had.

Usually, when someone owned a domain; the purpose is to build a website (blog, company profile, whatsoever). Some had the content prepared before uploaded and got published, while some had to put an "under construction" message on the empty web. Since he/she only got the name ready, without any content yet prepared. This condition is "common" in the internet. Usually, the only thing you'll lose is the usage time (because usually domains are registered for certain amount of time).

But the great news that I've found out, is that you can monetize your yet-to-use domains!
Yeah, domain parking can be implemented in this way:

• Let say, you own your-domain.com but don't have anything yet to be published
  
• You redirect your-domain.com to a domain-parking service provider, I have been using SEDO
• SEDO handles the redirects, and display a page (better than just an "under-construction" I say)
  
• Then it provides space for advertisement to be displayed when people access your-domain.com
  
• You earn as people access those ads

As simple as that!
But not limmited to just that, there are also lots and lots of more feature that can be found from this. Let say for example, you want to start domain-business marketing.
You buy domains and intend to sell it to the market (with higher valuer, and that is possible) Do you wonder, where to put it "ON-SALE" beside telling it just to your friend? This SEDO can do the work for you. The advantage is, while you're waiting for bids, the ads bring you some income on the process. Great isn't it?
