Well, it's a breakthrough in Google tradition, where products stay in Beta phase for a long period of time. Now, their new web-browser, Chrome is fully released out of beta. Well, after a long waiting for 14-updates, I managed to get my hands on it.The main feature that attracts me to try this new products, is the efficient resources usage that they offer. For comparison, it took 90+MB for my FireFox to open 2 tabs, while Chrome only take 47M for the same payload. That's almost half the price!
This post is written by using Chrome. And believe me, it took me some time to really enjoy the technology. I had tried uninstall the poor thing, when it got stuck while I was trying to import my bookmarks and setting.
The lack of plug-in support for this new born, really worries me the most. And I think there's still a glitch hanging around, somehow. When I logged-in to my wordpress blog. I have to log-in again for the WP-Stats plugins to make it works. And there's this "floating bar" on top of Chrome, empty-spaced hanging without response. I presume it's the "Do you want to remember password" thing.
Now, I have to open two browser in order to support my needs. Well, let see if the OpenSource concept can really bring changes onto Chrome.
