Song Around the World: Stand by Me

This is tremendously touching me, in a subtle way; I always admire those street musicians, that perform with their soul to their best. And now they do it as a peace movement that goes all around the world.

I'm getting hooked on Restaurant City

Okay, it's not like I don't enjoy spending my time on games. But this is way too much, yes I'm addicted to this Facebook Game: Restaurant City.

After a serious in-dept calculation, I can say that I've been spending 60% of my online time, to manage my resto. Well, I do have a dream to run my own restaurant one day, but for now I guess this will do.
*LOL*

So if you do have a facebook account (who doesn't these days), just search for "Restaurant City" and you'll get your result. Give it a try, spend some time to get a hang on it, and be prepared for its' sublime impact.

About Restaurant City

The game is about you, owning a building for a starter. Then you go hire some of your friends, to work for your restaurant. You will be handling lots of things, from the menu selection, role assignment, ingredients trading, and even decorating.

There are points being calculated here, one is your cash and the second is your experience level (I'd like to say it so, common gaming terms).

The more money you have, the more things you can buy.
The more experience points you gain, the more chances to develop a bigger restaurant (more employer, larger space).

Knowing is Everything

I don't want to be a spoiler, so this is a spoiler-free post.

I watched this movie, Knowing (2009) past few days ago. Performed by Nicolas Cage, a scientist that is in the middle of faith-crisis. Since his wife passed away, he became a single parent for his only precious son, Caleb. This is quite interesting, because his wife's death turned this son-of-a-pastor from "I believe in God" into "I belive that shits just happen" and he's been busy to understand the greater cause of all that existed in this world.

The Story

It started 50-years earlier. Where children of a school made their prediction of what the future could be, and then stored it in a time capsule (it's a container that supposed to be durable and keep whatever stored in it, intact).
And to make it simple, one of the children's made an unexplainable signs for things that occured from then up to the day John Koestler found the document. And ever since he discovered the meaning of that parchment, the more he try to unreveal the truth.

Personally, I think this movie taught us that whatever the truth holds out there. As long as you fill your life with precious moments with those precious ones, then you have nothing to lost.
